There are hundreds of sacred mosques, hills, plains, graveyards, caves, etc. that share a significant association with Islamic history. General Rules and Guidelines.

•Devote most of your time supplication to Allah Almighty, offering prayers and learning about the Islamic history present there. 

•Have patience while traveling and also in general; maintain a friendly atmosphere whit your tour guide and companions.

•While visiting different places, your companions’ views and beliefs about them might differ. However, don’t impose your opinion on anyone and respect everyone. 

•Foster the spirit and passion of the Ziyarath and till the time you reach Madinah, read books on Islamic history. 

•After reaching Madinah for Ziyarath purposes, it is recommended that you shower and wear new clothes before going to the Prophet’s (SAWW) Mosque. 

•Be mindful of the local rules and regulations. It’s advised that you strictly follow the guidelines issued to you. So, in order to avoid any type of fine.

•Give something in charity during your travel (no matter how little) and especially before entering the mosque as Allah sees your intentions and not the amount you’re donating.

•If you are traveling for Ziyarath with a group, then it’s advised that you remain punctual. So not only to save time for yourselves but also for your fellow pilgrims.

•Before entering the mosque, if and only it isn’t the time for obligatory prayers, then go to the Rawdha i.e., Garden of Paradise, and offer 2 Rakat Salah in greeting; somewhere between the pulpit and the Prophet’s (SAWW) tomb.

•Since you’ll be traveling for most of your time, keep some snacks with you and also a water bottle.

•Remember that on an Umrah Visa, a pilgrim is only allowed to travel to Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah, and the cities that might come in between them.
