A court in Moscow ruled to seize the assets of the Russian subsidiary of the Metinvest company controlled by Ukraine’s richest man Rinat Akhmetov, Russian newspaper Kommersant reported on July 31.
Lvova-Belova claims 700,000 children deported from Ukraine.

At least six people have been killed, among them a child, in a Russian missile strike against the city of Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in the morning of July 31.
Update: 4 killed, 17 injured in Russian strikes on Kherson.
Presidential Office head Andrii Yermak reported on Telegram that Russian strikes on July 31 against Kherson have killed four people and wounded 17 others, among them a 16-year-old girl
Russian attacks kill 2, injure 19 over past day.
Russian forces attacked nine oblasts during the past day, killing two people and injuring 19 more, local officials reported early on July 31. Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Luhansk oblasts came under attack.
General Staff: Russia has lost 246,190 troops in Ukraine.
The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported on July 31 that Russia had lost 246,190 troops in Ukraine since the beginning of its full-scale invasion on Feb. 24 last year.
